The following is an explanation of our office policies. We believe that a clear definition will allow us both to concentrate on the most important issue: regaining and maintaining your health. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our policies, your account, or insurance coverage.
No Charge Consultation
Peak Performance Chiropractic Center offers a special “no charge” consultation, or brief conference, with anyone interested in finding out if chiropractic can help them. There is no charge or obligation in connection with this appointment.
We feel the patient’s health needs are paramount; therefore the following payment policy is an attempt to provide you the care you need and clear any account balance with the least amount of difficulty. To get started in our office requires a minimum payment of $75.00 to be paid on the first day of service. The balance of your charges may be made in monthly payments using a credit card number that will be kept on file with an automatic payments set up in advance. Payments may be set to an amount and date that works best for your situation.
New Practice Member Care Services
The fee to begin care in our office is $272.00 ($263.00 if 65 years or older or under the age of 18). This fee includes your initial exam, pre- and post- x-rays and first adjustment. This fee is discounted 50% for family members of new patients if they begin care within 12 months of the original family member.
Our Policy on Health Insurance
Today most insurance policies do cover chiropractic care. We will gladly submit a claim on your behalf in order for your insurance company to be informed of the services you have received here. Your insurance company will reimburse you directly based on your plan’s out-of-network chiropractic benefits. Payment is still due at the time of service. Let us know if you would like us to contact your insurance carrier for you during your appointment to see what your policy covers.
Please understand we are not a mediator between you and your insurance company and will not enter into any dispute with them, as your contract is strictly between you and your insurance company.
Unfortunately there are times when our patients needs will sometimes cause delays in our office. Please bear with us. We will give you the same care and consideration during your appointment. If you have a tight schedule and we are running behind please let the staff know so we can try to accommodate you.
In order to better serve all of our patients and avoid delays in our schedule we ask that you arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment in order to allow you time to check in and be ready to see the doctor at your appointed time.
Please call at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to make your appointment. Your appointment time is reserved for you. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late for your appointment you may be asked to reschedule.
When a person seeks chiropractic care in this office it is essential for each of us to be working together towards the same objective.
Chiropractic has only one objective.
To be clear it is important to establish an understanding of our philosophy and procedure.
The brain and nerve system control all the functions of your body. The objective of Chiropractic and this office is to restore proper nerve function by eliminating nerve interference caused by vertebral subluxation.
A balanced and fully functioning nerve system is essential for you to regain and maintain health.
Chiropractic is not Medicine, Medicine is not Chiropractic.
Diagnosing and treating disease (or its symptoms) is the practice of medicine. Chiropractic is not medicine and therefore does not treat disease. As chiropractors we focus on creating health rather than “treating” the lack of it. Regardless of your body’s condition, be it good or bad, you need a good nerve supply. If during the course of care we find something out of the ordinary you will be notified. If it is of non-chiropractic nature, it is your responsibility to seek care with the appropriate professional.
